Jaguar Land Rover

The primary aim of the website was to enhance the shopping experience for diplomatic users

During my time at Connect (now known as Team ITG), I collaborated with a small team on a design project for Jaguar Land Rover, the British multinational automotive company renowned for its luxury vehicles and sport utility vehicles. My key responsibility was to develop the UI and UX design for the desktop and mobile site.

The primary aim of the website was to enhance the shopping experience for diplomatic users, enabling them to personalise their vehicles as per their preferences. While Jaguar Land Rover had already incorporated a configurator into their website, my role was to create the login, landing, news, contact, and other informative pages.

Overcoming the Challenges of a Global Website

Creating a website that is accessible and user-friendly for people all around the world can be a challenging task. Our team had to consider various factors such as language barriers and varying levels of technological proficiency.

One of the primary concerns was designing a site that would be easy to use, regardless of the user's language. To address this, we focused on creating a simple and intuitive interface, with minimal clutter and plenty of white space. By doing so, we aimed to ensure that the site would be easy to navigate for users of all ages and technical backgrounds.

Overall, we are proud to have overcome these challenges and created a website that is accessible, user-friendly, and effective for users from all around the world.

User-Friendly Web Pages

Creating user-friendly web pages is crucial to ensure that visitors can easily access the information they need. This was taken into consideration when I was designing the home page of this website.

I opted for a clean and straightforward design that allows users to quickly understand the information presented to them. The page layout is intuitive and guides users towards the desired action - building their diplomatic vehicle. We added a clear call-to-action button to encourage users to start the process immediately.

Overall, we focused on creating a seamless user experience and ensuring that our web pages are easy to navigate
